George has more than 30 years of experience, specializing in the areas of trusts and estates, gift planning and other forms of wealth planning and preservation. He focuses on serving ultra-high-net-worth individuals and their family members, family offices and their related entities, including trusts, private foundations, corporations, partnerships and LLCs. His combined background in the accounting, legal and financial services industries helps him work effectively with the outside advisors that are typically part of a client’s overall wealth management team.
Prior to joining Armanino, George was a tax manager in Deloitte’s Private Client Advisors group and a registered in-house counsel and tax research manager with Wells Fargo Bank’s Fiduciary Tax group. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants and has an A.B. in Political Science and Management Science from Duke University, a J.D. from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law and an LL.M. in Taxation from Golden Gate University Law School.
